Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC preferred) or as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience working in educational settings, specifically with school-aged populations
- Comfortable with providing speech therapy in both on-site and teletherapy formats
- Comprehensive knowledge of evaluation, assessment, and intervention for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to varying caseloads and student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students per Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Conduct assessments and assist in developing appropriate treatment plans
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student communication and success in the classroom
- Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed for remote service delivery
- Maintain professional standards and stay current with best practices in school-based speech therapy
