Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by IDFPR
  • ISBE Professional Educator License (per state standards)
  • SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year candidacy accepted
  • Experience or coursework related to school settings, pediatrics, or autism spectrum disorders is preferred
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in a self-contained autism classroom
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and state guidelines
