Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure as an SLP or eligibility to obtain prior to the school year
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations is highly valued
  • Solid understanding of IEP process, progress monitoring, and documentation
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Compassionate communication, organization, and time management skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and screenings to identify speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in individual and group settings
  • Maintain detailed and timely documentation for service delivery and IEP compliance
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
  • Communicate with teachers, staff, and families regarding student progress and strategies for success
