Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time role spans August through June, offering the chance to make a measurable difference for students across multiple specialized settings. With a schedule ranging from 35 to 37.5 hours per week, you'll serve students with diverse needs and collaborate within a supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students at various program sites, including general education, alternative education, autism supports, and a transition learning center.
- Manage an evolving caseload (current projected numbers: 5 general education, 15 ED/BD, 12 autism with 3 consult, and transition learning center with 5 direct/6 consult).
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized education plans, and track student progress.
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic, communication, and social development.
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborate with teachers and families, and document services in compliance with school and legal requirements.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, with current CCC-SLP certification.
- Active state licensure to practice in school settings.
- Previous experience in a school environment preferred, especially with populations including autism support, emotional/behavioral disorders, and transition-aged students.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
