Qualifications:

  • Current State of Illinois Speech Language Pathologist license from IDFPR
  • ISBE Professional Educator License (refer to Illinois requirements)
  • ASHA certification (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
  • Experience with pediatric populations; school-based autism support preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to self-contained autism classrooms (EC through grade 5)
  • Develop and implement IEPs, monitor progress, and document outcomes
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families
  • Support multi-disciplinary teams in a dynamic, nurturing environment
