Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- State licensure (or eligibility) as required for school-based practice
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is highly valued
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt therapy methods to meet diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language interventions for students across grade levels
- Provide consultation and resources to teachers and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, session notes, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
