Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
  • Active state SLP licensure (or eligibility)
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Passion for helping children overcome communication challenges

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and caregivers
  • Deliver direct therapy to students and monitor progress toward goals
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to provide strategies supporting student success in the classroom
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, progress reports, and documentation as required
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the overall educational planning for each student
  • Stay current with best practices in pediatric and school-based speech therapy
