Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
- Active state SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Passion for helping children overcome communication challenges
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and caregivers
- Deliver direct therapy to students and monitor progress toward goals
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to provide strategies supporting student success in the classroom
- Maintain accurate and timely records, progress reports, and documentation as required
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the overall educational planning for each student
- Stay current with best practices in pediatric and school-based speech therapy
