Opportunities available:

  • Lake in the Hills: Work with 16 students, approximately 15 hours per week.
  • Morton Grove: Provide services to 9 students for 5–7 hours per week.
  • Oak Lawn: Serve 29 students, about 15–20 hours per week.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Passion for helping students achieve their communication and academic goals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language needs
  • Deliver direct and consultative SLP services in accordance with IEPs
  • Monitor student progress and adapt interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff to promote students’ success
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings as required
