As an SLP in this setting, you’ll play a vital role in collaborating with district teams for IEPs, ensuring each child receives personalized guidance. In addition to direct therapy, you’ll support and assist home visitors if required by an ISSP/IEP, bringing meaningful interventions directly to families’ homes when necessary. Key qualifications and experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience serving children ages birth to five, preferably in school or Head Start settings
  • Strong knowledge of IEP processes and collaborative practices within educational teams
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Adaptability to work across multiple sites and with diverse populations
