Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Morton, MS

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active and current state SLP license
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY considered
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is beneficial
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to create engaging, evidence-based therapy plans tailored to student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs), monitor progress, and collaborate with IEP teams
• Provide direct therapy services and consultation for teachers and families
• Document and manage accurate therapy records in compliance with school and state regulations
• Participate in school meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities as required
