Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current, valid state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience with school-aged children and IEP processes strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Familiarity with speech, language, and communication disorders as they relate to academic performance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students to identify speech and language needs through standardized assessment tools
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals in accordance with IEP requirements
  • Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions to support student learning
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and other specialists to maximize student progress
  • Maintain thorough records of assessments, interventions, progress, and compliance documents
  • Participate in IEP meetings, consultations, and professional development opportunities
