5th Grade 9th Grade School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Moscow, Idaho

Make an impact in the new school year by providing vital speech-language pathology services for K-12 students. As part of a forward-thinking special education department, you'll play a key role in helping students develop essential communication skills, from first graders just starting their educational journey all the way up to high school seniors preparing for graduation. With the current SLP retiring, there is a significant need for six dedicated professionals to ensure continuity of support for a diverse and eager caseload.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain before start date
• Experience with K-12 populations, with flexibility to support multiple grade levels (1st–12th)
• Strong assessment and documentation abilities
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with educators and families

Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver in-person speech and language therapy to a manageable caseload (targeting 50-60 students)
• Collaborate regularly with fellow SLPs, teachers, special education staff, and administrators
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and ongoing progress monitoring
• Develop and implement IEPs and therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
• Contribute expertise to team meetings and professional development activities

Assignment Details:

• Openings are available in elementary, middle, and high school settings
• Contract role for the 2026-2027 academic year
• School hours: Elementary 7:30 am–4:00 pm | Middle 7:45 am–4:00 pm | High 8:30 am–4:00 pm
