Make a meaningful difference for elementary students as a talented Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a dynamic school setting near Moulton, AL. This full-time contract position runs from August 12th to May 28th, offering an exciting opportunity to support young learners in grades 1 through 4. You’ll be working with an engaging caseload of 80-100 students, collaborating with educators and families to help each child reach their communication and academic goals.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLP (CCC preferred) or SLPA
  • Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Passion for working with children in elementary grade levels

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff for integrated student support
  • Maintain timely, accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as appropriate
  • Mentor and provide guidance to SLPA (if credentialed as SLP)
  • Foster a supportive, positive environment that encourages student growth
