In this full-time role running from August 12 through May 28, you’ll serve a supportive elementary school team, working with grades 1-4. The caseload includes approximately 80–100 students, providing a dynamic range of clinical opportunities for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA).
Requirements:
- Current state license as an SLP (CCC preferred) or SLPA
- Prior experience in a school setting (elementary preferred)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new teams and settings
- Dedication to delivering student-centered, evidence-based services
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for elementary-aged students
- Prepare and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
