A contract position is available in Moundville, AL, for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide telespeech services in a school setting. This role requires 14 hours per week and focuses on supporting the current SLPA by assisting with billing relief and related duties.
Key qualifications include:
- Valid SLP license with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or appropriate SLPA certification
- Experience working in school-based speech-language pathology settings
- Proficiency in telespeech service delivery
- Familiarity with billing processes and documentation for speech services in schools
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload and paperwork effectively
Responsibilities:
- Deliver telespeech therapy sessions to students as assigned
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student communication goals
- Assist in managing billing tasks to alleviate workload for the existing SLPA
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and related documentation
- Ensure compliance with school and state regulations related to speech services
