School Speech Language Pathologist - Mount Airy, Maryland

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving multiple elementary sites in a dynamic school environment. This full-time role offers the chance to work with a diverse caseload of 35-45 students, supporting their communication development and educational progress throughout the school year.

You’ll provide direct and consultative services to students, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and bring your expertise to individualized education planning. The assignment runs from October 1st through June 4th, providing consistency and impact over the academic year. All interviews are conducted virtually for your convenience.

To be considered, candidates should possess:

• Active Maryland SLP license
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Prior experience delivering SLP services in a school-based setting
• Strong collaborative and communication skills
• Ability to manage an elementary student caseload effectively

Daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting speech and language assessments
• Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Providing direct and consultative therapy for students
• Tracking progress and maintaining comprehensive documentation
• Partnering with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth
• Participating in IEP meetings and related team discussions
