Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students with speech and language needs in an educational setting near Mount Airy, NC. This opportunity is perfect for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or CFY) passionate about fostering communication skills and delivering high-quality therapy to children and adolescents. The position is set to begin as soon as possible and will continue through May 28, 2027, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current or eligible Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year, CFY)
  • Experience or strong interest in working within schools and pediatric populations
  • Versatility to provide in-person and/or teletherapy services as needed
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to supporting students’ diverse communication and learning needs
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with professionalism in all interactions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language assessments, therapy, and progress monitoring for a caseload of school-aged students
  • Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, specialists, and families to support student growth
  • Maintain timely and accurate records for all services provided
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development as required
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for students’ communication needs across the school environment
