Step into a part-time contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting middle and high school students near Mount Lemmon, AZ. You'll work 20 hours weekly, fostering communication growth and academic success for adolescents during their critical developmental years.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active or eligible SLP license for Arizona
  • Accepting both ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
  • Experience in schools appreciated, especially working with middle or high school-aged students
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide diagnostic assessments, develop IEP goals, and deliver individualized or small group speech and language therapy for students in grades 6-12
  • Collaborate closely with special education teams, teachers, and families to support student success
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate records as required by state and district standards
  • Contribute expertise to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary planning as an integral member of the educational team
  • Support students with a range of communication challenges, including articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
