Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Current Illinois SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, and IEP development
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and direct therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Participate as a team member in multi-disciplinary IEP meetings
  • Consult with teachers, families, and support staff to maximize outcomes
  • Maintain thorough, timely records in compliance with state and district requirements
  • Offer guidance and training to educational staff as needed
