Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current Illinois SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, and IEP development
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and direct therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Participate as a team member in multi-disciplinary IEP meetings
- Consult with teachers, families, and support staff to maximize outcomes
- Maintain thorough, timely records in compliance with state and district requirements
- Offer guidance and training to educational staff as needed
