School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Mountain City, Tennessee

Seeking applicants with experience in a variety of speech-language fields, including SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, SLP with school or teletherapy backgrounds, and SLPA professionals with experience in schools or healthcare environments. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as you’ll work closely with students, families, and educational staff to deliver effective speech therapy services and ensure each student’s unique needs are addressed.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or relevant associate’s degree for SLPAs
• Active state licensure for SLPs and/or SLPA credentials
• Experience working in school settings, teletherapy, or healthcare environments preferred
• CCC certification or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year for SLP applicants
• Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
• Compassionate, student-focused, and adaptable to changing needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) or intervention plans
• Deliver targeted therapy sessions (in-person or virtual, as required)
• Consult with teachers, support staff, and families on strategies for student success
• Monitor student progress, maintain thorough records, and comply with all state and federal requirements
• Support educational goals and contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment
