Make a significant impact in education by providing speech-language services to K-12 students in a supportive, contract-based environment. This full-time opportunity is situated near Mountain Top, PA, with hours from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., working across one to two buildings to address a variety of student needs—including those who are non-verbal.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Valid SLP state licensure or eligibility to obtain it
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
  • Educational experience serving K-12 populations preferred
  • Comfortable working with a range of communication abilities, including non-verbal students
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with teachers, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and direct therapy services to students with speech and language needs
  • Work with small caseloads of students in one or two buildings
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), progress monitoring, and documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams to support optimal student outcomes
  • Adapt strategies to serve diverse student populations, including those with significant expressive and receptive communication challenges
  • Engage with staff and families to foster a supportive learning environment
