An exciting opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a school setting near Moyock, NC, serving the Elizabeth City area for the 2020-21 school year. This full-time contract role involves managing a caseload of 50-60 students and offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on children's communication skills throughout the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Valid North Carolina state license and certification to practice as an SLP
  • Eligibility for or possession of CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or currently in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Previous experience working in a school environment preferred

Location:

  • Moyock, North Carolina (serving Elizabeth City area)

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in students
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs and educational goals
  • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
