An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist for the 2020-21 academic year in the Elizabeth City, NC area. This contract position welcomes both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and those with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), providing a supportive environment to grow and make a difference.
What you bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Valid North Carolina SLP license and certification
- Eligibility for CFY or current CCC required
- Experience in school settings is a plus, but highly motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and other specialists
- Dedication to helping students communicate and succeed
What to expect in your role:
- Full-time commitment for the duration of the 2020-21 school year
- Manage a caseload of approximately 50-60 students, providing direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with other school professionals to track progress, assess, and support goals
- Maintain thorough records and communicate regularly with parents and staff
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and school-based teams as needed
