This contract position welcomes both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and those with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), providing a supportive environment to grow and make a difference.

What you bring:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Valid North Carolina SLP license and certification
  • Eligibility for CFY or current CCC required
  • Experience in school settings is a plus, but highly motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and other specialists
  • Dedication to helping students communicate and succeed

What to expect in your role:

  • Full-time commitment for the duration of the 2020-21 school year
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 50-60 students, providing direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborate with other school professionals to track progress, assess, and support goals
  • Maintain thorough records and communicate regularly with parents and staff
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and school-based teams as needed
