Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students and making meaningful progress in their communication journeys as a Speech Language Pathologist! This full-time contract role (37.5 hours per week) follows the 2026-2027 academic calendar, beginning August 12, 2026 and concluding June 7, 2027. Serving pediatric populations in a supportive school setting, you’ll provide both direct and indirect services—and you’ll focus on your clinical work, with no additional non-therapy responsibilities like bus duty or parent pick-up.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Speech Language Pathology license (NC or eligible)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), CFY, and Clinical Fellowship welcome
  • Experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings preferred
  • Passion for fostering student growth in communication and social skills
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with staff and families
  • Skilled in documentation and IEP processes

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to students
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment strategies
  • Collaborate with educators and school teams to support learning goals
  • Document interventions, progress, and provide input for IEPs
  • Consult with families and staff regarding student needs and progress
