Step into an engaging contract role supporting an elementary school community as a Speech-Language Pathologist covering a maternity leave. You’ll work with bright young learners and a collaborative staff in a rewarding, school-based setting. This full school year opportunity has you on campus Monday through Friday, 7:45am to 3:45pm.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP licensure or eligibility for state licensure
  • Successful completion of clinical fellowship or equivalent school-based experience
  • Experience in an educational setting, particularly at the elementary level, is preferred
  • Ability to create individualized treatment plans and conduct assessments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary school students
  • Conduct evaluations, write reports, and work on IEP development and implementation
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
  • Document progress, maintain records, and participate in team meetings
  • Contribute to a positive school environment by actively engaging with staff and students
