School Speech Language Pathologist - Mukwonago, WI

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication development in a school-based setting near Mukwonago, WI. This engaging role spans approximately February 12th through April 5th, with about 32 hours per week dedicated to providing high-quality speech and language services to a diverse caseload of roughly 30 students spanning 4K to 8th grade. Students present with articulation/phonology and language needs, giving you the chance to make a meaningful impact at pivotal stages of their academic journey.

What distinguishes an exceptional candidate:

• Current CCC-SLP certification and active state licensure
• Previous school-based SLP experience, particularly with articulation and language disorders
• Demonstrated self-starter attitude; able to independently manage caseload and adapt to evolving student needs
• Strong interpersonal skills and comfort with multidisciplinary collaboration
• Experience working with elementary and middle school-aged children
• Positive, communicative, and organized approach to both therapy and teamwork

In this role, you will:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with a range of communication needs
• Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized plans, and document student progress
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth in academic settings
• Offer supervision of students as they enter the building in the morning, ensuring a safe and welcoming start to each day
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to ongoing educational planning
