This contract-based position offers two dynamic openings to work collaboratively with dedicated educators and families while supporting students’ communication growth.

Available roles include a full-time (5 days/week) position in a PreK/Kindergarten setting and a flexible 3-5 days/week option specializing with 4th and 5th graders. Both positions offer the chance to tailor intervention and support to the unique needs of school-age children, fostering both academic and social success.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current CCC-SLP certification (ASHA certified)
  • Valid state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New Jersey
  • Previous pediatric and/or school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Able to develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services within the assigned building(s)
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students with speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in accordance with IEP goals
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure effective and integrated support
  • Maintain detailed session notes, progress reports, and required documentation
  • Engage in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
