Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- California SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but clinical fellows are welcome
- Previous school-based SLP experience is advantageous
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to cultivate a positive and inclusive atmosphere for students
Responsibilities:
- Assess students to determine speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s goals
- Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with IEP objectives
- Maintain clear documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and therapy sessions
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
- Engage in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and expertise for student growth
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training
