Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • California SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but clinical fellows are welcome
  • Previous school-based SLP experience is advantageous
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to cultivate a positive and inclusive atmosphere for students

Responsibilities:

  • Assess students to determine speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s goals
  • Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with IEP objectives
  • Maintain clear documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
  • Engage in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and expertise for student growth
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training
