Key Qualifications:

  • ASHA Certification—certificate of clinical competence (CCC) required
  • Valid California SLP License
  • Certificate of Clearance (COC)
  • Experience in a school environment preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students according to IEP goals and school policies
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy for students with communication and swallowing disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop and monitor student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP and multidisciplinary meetings
  • Support student transitions through data-driven recommendations and strategies
  • Participate in professional development to stay current with best practices
