School Speech Language Pathologist - Murrieta, CA

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students in a compassionate, collaborative environment. A seasoned Speech-Language Pathologist or motivated SLPA is needed to assist with a medical leave, working in three medically fragile classrooms alongside another SLP and an SLPA. Starting August 10th, 2026, you will play a crucial role through December, with the possibility of extending for the full academic year.

As a valued team member, you’ll provide vital speech and language services tailored to each child’s unique needs, including those who utilize AAC devices. Your support and expertise will help empower students to communicate more effectively and confidently each day.

Desired Background, Experience, and Skills:

• Current licensure and credentials as an SLP (CCC) or eligibility as an SLPA in California
• Prior school-based experience preferred
• Direct experience supporting AAC users
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team setting
• Compassionate communication skills and adaptability
• Strong organizational abilities and follow-through

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct dynamic speech/language therapy for students in medically fragile classrooms
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans and goals
• Collaborate closely with teachers, other therapists, and support staff
• Maintain timely documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Provide education and training on AAC systems to staff and families
• Flexibly adjust to classroom and caseload needs

This contract position offers 32.5 to 35 hours per week within a supportive school community. For SLPAs, compensation reflects your commitment and expertise as you take on this fulfilling challenge.
