Qualifications and Desired Background:
- Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP, CCC-SLP) for California
- Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Hands-on proficiency with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices required
- Comfortable and experienced working with medically fragile student populations
- Detail-oriented, empathetic, and able to work effectively in a team-focused environment
- Able to reliably commit to a 32.5-35 hour workweek
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy in accordance with IEP goals within the designated classrooms
- Conduct assessments, maintain thorough documentation, and report on student progress
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, the on-site SLP, and SLPA for comprehensive student support
