School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Muskegon, Michigan

You’ll work full-time, collaborating with educators and specialists to enhance communication skills and foster academic growth for elementary-aged children.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active & valid SLP license for Michigan (or eligibility to obtain prior to assignment)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Previous school-based SLP experience highly preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Passion for supporting diverse student populations, including those attending non-public schools
• Ability to design, implement, and evaluate therapy plans aligned with IEP goals

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language services to elementary students per IEP and district guidelines
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, write effective reports, and participate in eligibility meetings
• Develop individualized treatment plans and track student progress
• Liaise with teachers, families, and other service providers to optimize student outcomes
• Provide consultative support for non-public school students as needed
• Contribute to multidisciplinary teams and attend required meetings
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
