What you’ll bring:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Michigan
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Prior experience with school-based or pediatric SLP services (elementary caseload preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of IEP processes and compliance standards for special education
  • Skilled in planning and delivering evidence-based therapy
  • Clear communicator with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Organized, compassionate, and adaptable to a dynamic school environment

Your responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations to determine student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans as part of students’ IEPs
  • Provide direct therapy to elementary-aged students, including those in non-public settings
  • Document progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, families, and support staff
  • Offer consultation and training to support student integration and success
  • Maintain compliance with state and district guidelines
