What you’ll bring:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience with school-based or pediatric SLP services (elementary caseload preferred)
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and compliance standards for special education
- Skilled in planning and delivering evidence-based therapy
- Clear communicator with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Organized, compassionate, and adaptable to a dynamic school environment
Your responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations to determine student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans as part of students’ IEPs
- Provide direct therapy to elementary-aged students, including those in non-public settings
- Document progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, families, and support staff
- Offer consultation and training to support student integration and success
- Maintain compliance with state and district guidelines
