Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid SLP license for the state
  • Experience working with a diverse range of school-aged children (grades K-12)
  • Proficiency in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and caregivers
  • Comfortable adapting therapy approaches based on student needs and educational settings
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation and adhere to confidentiality protocols

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for students in K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 grade levels
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and social success
  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions to achieve measurable goals
  • Attend relevant meetings and participate in IEP development
  • Educate families and school staff on speech and language support strategies
