Enjoy guaranteed hours and a focus exclusively on direct and indirect therapy services—no non-therapy school duties like bus or pickup responsibilities. Those traveling for the role may also qualify for available stipends.
What you’ll bring:
- Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience or strong interest in school-based speech therapy for K-12 students
- Commitment to supporting a diverse student population with a collaborative, student-centered approach
- Ability to provide engaging, evidence-based services in both direct and consultative formats
- Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families
What you’ll do:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver speech-language therapy to students across grade levels
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation for all services provided
- Consult with teachers and other school professionals to integrate strategies within the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate student progress to caregivers and educators
- Provide both direct therapy and indirect consultative services as needed
