Make an impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist by providing direct support in an educational setting near Myrtle Beach, SC. This contract opportunity requires a dedicated professional to work in-person approximately 9-10 hours per week, helping to address the unique communication needs of pediatric students while offering essential assistance to existing staff SLPs.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility to obtain licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in South Carolina
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience in a school, healthcare, or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to culturally responsive and student-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapy and intervention services directly to students as scheduled
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and fellow SLPs to support student progress and individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments and document findings in compliance with district and regulatory guidelines
  • Maintain accurate session notes and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings as needed
  • Assist in managing caseloads and alleviating heavy workload from current staff SLPs
