Speech Language Pathologist in Myrtle Beach, SC

You’ll step into a school-based environment near the scenic Myrtle Beach area, dedicating 10 hours per week to meaningful, one-on-one work with children. Your skills in the following areas will ensure student success and a rewarding work experience:

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Active SLP license with eligibility for South Carolina requirements
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) completion
• Strong background in pediatric speech therapy, especially within school settings
• Familiarity with IEPs, progress reporting, and collaborating in multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students in-person each week
• Partner with the staff SLP to share caseload responsibilities and document student progress
• Contribute to IEP development and participate in eligibility meetings as appropriate
• Offer professional input on student needs and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Maintain accurate, timely records according to school and district guidelines
