Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working with elementary-aged students in an engaging and supportive school environment. With three openings available, you'll have the chance to collaborate with fellow SLPs, both experienced clinicians and clinical fellows, making a significant impact on young learners’ communication skills.
You’ll work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week throughout the 2026-2027 school year, managing a dynamic caseload of approximately 50 elementary students. This is an excellent role for seasoned SLPs or newer graduates eager to work with a vibrant population, as supervision for clinical fellows is included.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience or clinical interest in elementary school populations
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with educators, families, and other support staff
- Willingness to mentor or be mentored (supervision provided for clinical fellows)
- Dedication to fostering student growth and self-confidence
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy to students, focusing on speech, language, and communication goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student success
- Maintain records and progress notes in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning
