Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience with school-based services, particularly with young children
- Ability to collaborate with other SLPs and multidisciplinary team members
- Strong communication skills with families, caregivers, and educational staff
- Flexibility to travel throughout the local area as needed for home visits and center-based settings
Responsibilities:
- July through October: Deliver early intervention services to infants and toddlers in a primarily home-based model, working alongside another skilled therapist
- November through January: Provide speech and language support at learning centers, focusing on preschool-aged children within ECSE programs across the area
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
- Engage and coach families, ensuring collaboration in the therapeutic process
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with school and state requirements
- Attend team meetings, transition planning, and support child progress reviews
