Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid and current state SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
- Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication, articulation, and language disorders
- Comfortable working with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, or communication challenges
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
- Maintain accurate records and thorough documentation for student progress and compliance
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive support
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations for student services
- Provide resources and strategies for families and staff to reinforce progress across educational settings
