Speech Language Pathologist in Nancy, KY

Qualifications and Preferred Background

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid SLP licensure and CCC or CFY status
• Experience in school-based caseloads, especially preschool ages
• Skilled in conducting evaluations, RTI, and direct/indirect therapy
• Knowledge of First Steps and Head Start procedures
• Ability to supervise and mentor an SLPA
• Collaborative, communicative, and flexible approach

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language evaluations for preschool-aged students
• Deliver high-quality intervention, both consultative and direct, as needed
• Oversee and guide the SLPA, fostering a supportive atmosphere for growth
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings
• Offer supplemental services in the event of staff leaves, partnering with the team to ensure student goals are met
