Empower students as a Speech-Language Pathologist by providing essential communication support in a school-based setting. This full-time contract role offers the opportunity to work with K-12 learners across 1-2 buildings near the Nanticoke, PA area, creating meaningful impact in both traditional and unique learning environments. Hours are from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, allowing for a balanced schedule and meaningful professional experiences.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist state licensure and appropriate credentials
- Experience or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered; Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) welcomed
- Background working with elementary through high school populations
- Familiarity with diverse caseloads, including students with non-verbal communication needs
- Adaptable, communicative, and team-oriented approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments and IEP requirements
- Provide direct therapy for a variety of communication needs, including non-verbal students
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Participate in meetings, maintain required records and documentation
- Deliver compassionate, creative support within one or two school buildings, making a difference across grades and backgrounds
