A School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed on-site in Napa, CA for an immediate contract opportunity through the end of the school year (EOSY). This role requires dedication to providing direct therapy services to students, helping to enhance their communication skills and supporting the existing SLP team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality speech and language therapy services to students in the school setting
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) related to speech and language goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
  • Document student evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and timely
  • Assist in alleviating the workload of the current SLP, ensuring effective caseload management

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (SLP-CCC preferred)
  • Experience working in school settings with children of varying ages and needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility to commit to 35+ hours per week on-site through the end of the school year

Location: On-site in Napa, California, supporting students within a school environment
