Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students and staff within a vibrant school environment. An experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with current CCC status is needed on-site to assist with service delivery for the remainder of the school year. This is a full-time position (35+ hours per week) for immediate start, designed to ease current caseload demands and ensure continuity of high-quality speech-language services.
Ideal candidates will bring expertise in managing diverse student needs, collaborating effectively with special education teams, and contributing to a positive educational experience.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Current state license (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP
- School-based experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work on-site full time (35+ hours per week)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech, language, and communication therapy to students
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate progress records and participate in IEP meetings
- Assist in supporting and consulting with school staff on best practices
- Address a variety of communication disorders to meet student needs
