Step into a rewarding opportunity serving students as an in-person Speech-Language Pathologist for the full 2026-2027 school year at an elementary site near beautiful Napa, CA. This is a contract position offering 35 hours per week, providing the chance to foster communication skills in a supportive and welcoming school setting.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid California SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school environment preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Dedication to evidence-based and student-centered practices
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for elementary-aged students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with student goals
- Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and IEP documentation
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student growth and confidence
