Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early learners as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist. In this role, you'll bring your expertise to an early childhood program, providing speech services across 2.5 days per week (totaling approximately 18 hours weekly) for the entire academic year. This setting offers a fantastic chance to make a meaningful difference in children’s communication skills during formative years.

Additionally, two full-time SLP positions are available to cover elementary school maternity leaves—one spanning August through October, and another from August through December. Whether you’re seeking a steady part-time role, short-term full-time experience, or both, there’s flexibility to suit your preferences and schedule.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Illinois SLP license and active ASHA CCC certification
  • Experience with early childhood and/or elementary-aged students preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive environment for all students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes compliant with school and state standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise to multidisciplinary teams
