Exciting opportunities await Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about making a difference in educational settings! Enhance the communication skills and confidence of young learners in a supportive, early childhood school environment. This contract position focuses on working with children at the early childhood level, helping to foster strong foundational language and communication skills.

Currently seeking a part-time SLP for 2.5 days per week (totaling 18 hours), serving an early childhood program for the entire school year. Additionally, there are two full-time leave replacement roles at the elementary level, covering August through October and August through December.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
  • Previous experience working with early childhood or elementary-aged children in a school setting
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
  • Valid state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to students in early childhood programs, tailoring interventions to individual and group needs
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language delays or disorders
  • Monitor progress, maintain compliance with school and district documentation policies, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Consult with teachers and parents to support student development in both academic and social contexts
  • For leave replacement roles, provide consistency of care and therapy to elementary-aged students during the noted periods
