Supporting students from early childhood through grade 5 in a dynamic school setting, this full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers an engaging opportunity to make a meaningful impact. This contract role is based in Naperville, IL, and provides 35 hours per week during the 2025-2026 school year.

Responsibilities include delivering individualized speech-language therapy services primarily in self-contained autism classrooms, collaborating with educators and families, and maintaining detailed documentation of student progress. The role requires expertise in pediatric speech pathology within educational environments.

Key qualifications and credentials:

  • Hold a valid Speech Language Pathologist license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
  • Maintain an ISBE Professional Educator License with the appropriate credentials for school-based practice.
  • Possess the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or be a Clinical Fellowship Year candidate (SLP-CFY).
  • Experience working with children on the autism spectrum and addressing a variety of speech and language disorders.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate within a multidisciplinary school team.
