This opportunity is for licensed Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) to provide specialized support within multiple school sites in the Elgin, IL area. The role requires bilingual skills in English and Spanish, offering essential speech therapy services to early childhood and school-age students across a variety of settings.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with an SLP endorsement
  • Illinois state SLP license
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred
  • New graduates (CFs) considered if supervision is available
  • Experience working with diverse pediatric populations is beneficial

Position Details:

  • Location: Elgin, IL (Chicago metropolitan area)
  • Employment Type: Full-time contract (37.5 hours per week)
  • Assignment Dates: January 5, 2026 through May 20, 2026
  • Caseload includes early childhood centers and elementary schools
  • Potential for itinerant service delivery between school sites to create a full-time equivalent workload
  • Schools served may include early childhood programs and elementary schools with caseload variability

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and provide individualized speech-language interventions
  • Collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement student IEPs
  • Support communication development and address speech and language disorders in school settings
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress records
  • Travel between assigned schools as needed to fulfill caseload requirements
