A full-time opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) providing services in a school setting. This contract position is based in Naperville, IL, with a split schedule between two specialized programs located within the same building: East View Academy and Pathways. This role offers the chance to work closely with pediatric populations, including those requiring teletherapy and clinical fellowship year (CFY) supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluations and therapy to students in a school environment
- Utilize skills in pediatrics, teletherapy, and healthcare settings to support diverse student needs
- Collaborate with educators, occupational therapists, and other related service providers to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights for optimizing student outcomes
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification and license appropriate for the setting
- Experience in pediatric speech-language therapy within schools and healthcare environments
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and service delivery
- Completion or active status of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
