Desired Experience & Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state license (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in dynamic environments
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and student-centered care

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in line with IEP goals
  • Provide targeted therapy sessions both individually and in small groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
  • Document services, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Educate and support classroom staff with strategies that foster students’ communication development
  • Adapt therapy approaches based on student progress and needs
