Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state license (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in dynamic environments
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and student-centered care
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in line with IEP goals
- Provide targeted therapy sessions both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Document services, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Educate and support classroom staff with strategies that foster students’ communication development
- Adapt therapy approaches based on student progress and needs
