This contract role is ideal for professionals seeking a flexible schedule—just two hours per week—serving young learners in a supportive, collaborative environment. Sessions are scheduled for Monday afternoons (1:20 pm - 2:20 pm) and Friday afternoons (1:50 pm - 2:50 pm), focusing on a preschooler and a first grader. You'll co-teach alongside an experienced school SLP, working to empower students to reach their communication goals.

Whether providing services onsite or remotely, your skills will play a vital role in early intervention and language development.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) credentials
  • Bilingual Spanish and English fluency
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy, ideally within schools or teletherapy environments
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Licensed (or eligible) as an SLP in Illinois and able to work with school-aged children

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to one preschool and one first-grade student
  • Collaborate with the lead SLP on lesson plans, intervention strategies, and progress tracking
  • Conduct sessions via in-person or teletherapy format as needed
  • Document student progress and communicate with team members and families
  • Adapt approaches to meet bilingual and developmental needs
