This contract role, conveniently located near Naperville, IL, runs from August 24th through November 18th and offers full-time hours in a dynamic elementary setting serving grades K-2.
Bring your expertise and make a difference for students in both self-contained and pull-out environments. Spend three days each week immersed in a self-contained classroom, delivering integrated speech services as part of a collaborative team. The remaining two days, you'll focus on targeted pull-out speech interventions, helping students reach their communication goals through individualized and small group sessions.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP-CCC certification
- Active state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Previous experience working with K-2 or early elementary populations strongly preferred
- Exceptional ability to communicate with children, staff, and families
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct speech and language therapy services to assigned students
- Develop and implement IEP goals and accommodations
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student progress
- Complete required documentation and progress reports in a timely manner
- Use evidence-based strategies tailored to both self-contained and pull-out service delivery models
