This full-time opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week working with a Spanish-speaking caseload at an Early Childhood Center.
Qualifications & Experience
- Active SLP-CCC license required
- Demonstrated fluency in both English and Spanish
- Previous work with pediatric or early childhood caseloads strongly preferred
- Familiarity with school-based settings and IEP processes is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Compassionate approach and cultural sensitivity
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services for speech and language disorders to Spanish-speaking early childhood students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
- Employ a range of therapeutic interventions that are culturally responsive and adapted for young learners
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation of evaluations, progress, and communication with stakeholders
- Educate and equip families with strategies for language development at home
- Participate in school multidisciplinary meetings and professional development when needed
