Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Previous experience serving early childhood and elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills
- Adaptability and comfort traveling between two school locations
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students with a variety of communication needs
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations in accordance with school guidelines
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with educational staff and families
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Support inclusion and work closely with teachers, specialists, and other team members
