Step into an exciting contract opportunity to make a positive impact in educational settings as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) near Naperville, IL. Two maternity leave coverage positions are available, offering a chance to support students and collaborate with a dedicated school community.

The first leave will begin in late October or early November and end December 18, 2026, serving both a middle and an elementary school. The second position begins in December and runs through May 2027, focusing on a high school caseload. Both positions are full-time and offer the rewarding experience of supporting students in their communication and language development during an engaging school year.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in Illinois
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) in Illinois
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Consideration given to strong Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF) ready for a school-based setting
  • Experience working with school-aged children is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services within assigned schools, adapting to caseload needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Complete assessments, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers regarding language and communication strategies
  • Ensure compliance with all state, district, and federal guidelines
